California, with its highly diverse mix of ethnic cultures
operating businesses of all sizes throughout the state, could easily be the
geographic model for studying material distribution systems within a state. All
of the elements are there: physical size, a highly sophisticated highway
system, major airports with national and international traffic, and several
large seaports. The study could be titled "Distribution California."
